Coco Peila is a songwriter and producer. Above all, she's an entrepreneur.

Double your prices.
Coco was shaken (“Double?!”), but she did not come to play! She took the assignment seriously. She typed a new price list, printed it, and put it next to her bed. Each morning, she stared at her new prices. Vicious thoughts arose. “There’s no way this will work.” “Who's going to pay that much?”
To cope with these difficult emotions, she wrote in her journal. She sat with all the fear, doubt, and internationalized oppression and worked through it. And she went to the Hello Seven community for support. She knew, “If I surround myself with people who’ve got a million-dollar mindset, it will bring me courage and strength.”
“It took 21 days before I could fully embrace these new prices,” says Coco. “21 days to read it, see it, affirm it, believe it.”
Next, she emailed the new price list to her booking agency. The agency balked. “These prices are too expensive,” they told her.
The old Coco might have said, “Okay, you’re right, let me update the list and charge less.”
The new Coco realized, “This is a sign that it’s time to drop my agency and find a new one. Because my current agents don't share my vision. I need agents who can get me all the bags!”
What’s happening for Coco now?
- She’s making money moves.
- She’s contacting new agencies.
- She generated $16K in less than one week.
- She’s giving off a whole new vibe. “People respond to my energy differently,” she says.
- The glow-up is real.
It’s one thing to say, “I’m going to charge more.” Anybody can do that. The real work comes later.
The real work is when you contact a client and state your new fee—and refuse to settle for less. It’s when someone insists you’re “too expensive,” and you hold firm rather than apologizing, back-peddling, or making a special exception. It's when fear twists in your stomach, and you do the dang thing anyway. These are the moments of true courage.
