How to Win Back Your Time & Increase Revenue for Your Service Business

RRTV 10 4We all know the old adage, “time is money.” In fact, if you are a service professional–like me– you probably know that saying to be painfully true. In service professions–like, graphic design, life-coaching, lawyering, accounting, etc–the relationship between your time and your revenue are directly proportional. This means that the more time you devote to serving your clients, the more money you make. Unfortunately, this also means that the opposite is true: the less you work, the less you make. (Sad face.)
Many service professionals approach the problem of needing to increase revenue by trying to increase the amount of hours they work. But, let’s face it, at a certain point that becomes impossible. Look, I know we all have the same amount of hours in the day as Beyonce, and she is killing all of us in the productivity department, but you just can’t do 18 hours of consults, or drafting, or designing all day every day. And, even if you could, would your clients be getting the best possible version of you work? If you are stressed out and dog-tired, I bet not.
So, as a service professional, you’ve gotta figure out how to make more money without spending more of your time working, right? Lucky for you, I’ve been there, done that and have a solid plan for you to increase your revenue while decreasing the time you spend sitting in front of your computer.
